It takes place on 30th and 31st of May every year.

    Wesak Day

Wesak festival celebration in Malaysia lets you witness the important event which marks the three major milestones in the life of Buddha – his brith, enlightenment and nirvana. Buddhists across Malaysia take up fasting to cleanse themselves and meditate at the temple throughout the day. Doves and tortoises are released as a symbol of liberating soul and absolving the sins of a person’s past life. This festival happens across the country during the full moon of May.
